We’re on the hunt for three enthusiastic Junior Developers to join us for a 6-month fixed term contract. This isn’t just an opportunity, it has been specifically created for the unsung heroes of tech. Self-taught pros, career switchers and everyone from underrepresented backgrounds. Calling all college leavers, mature trailblazers and parents rejoining the workforce, your tech dreams start here!
What will you get to do?
* Team up on real-live projects, crafting innovative solutions that’ll wow everyone.
* Work closely with a lead developer – your own personal Yoda in tech training.
* Work alongside other self-taught colleagues who you can take advice and inspiration from.
* Utilise your passion for Frontend coding (HTML / JavaScript / CSS) in a real life development environment
* Collaborate with two other junior developers in a fun learning environment.
* Come into the amazing Fort Dunlop office on the outskirts of Birmingham once a month.
Requirements
* Skills in frontend coding: JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
* Familiarity with JavaScript libraries like React, Angular or Vue considered advantageous, although not essential!
* A fiery passion for coding!
* A minimum of 2 coding projects to showcase during your interview (the more creative the better).
* Eager to learn and grow, no matter where or how your journey began.
* Teamwork skills that make you the ultimate collaborator with strong communication skills.`
* A logical approach to problem-solving
The real thing to remember with this role is that we are looking for individuals from non-traditional backgrounds, think people who have that raw passion and ability in coding, but that wouldn’t usually get the chance to apply for typical graduate roles!
The interview Process:
Applications will close on 23rd May 2025.
The talent team will reach out and complete a recruiter call with successful candidates before 30th May 2025.
Interviews with be conducted on 17th, 19th, 24th & 26th June (please make sure you will be available on these days)
Final offers will be made w/c 30th June.
Start date: Monday 4th August.
