Work pattern: 5 days in office – Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 17:30pm & Friday 8:30am – 17:00pm
The Role
Unique international HR position for an ambitious HR professional looking to develop. Fully conversant with best practice in HR strategy, approach, process, and implementation. Strong focus on administration and HR compliance.
Reporting to both CFO, working closely with COO and CEO, the HR Manager will understand business objectives and address them proactively. Providing accurate, efficient, and confidential support and advice to senior management to maximize the HR function's contribution to the business. Building transparent relationships with senior staff and equipping them with necessary HR tools.
The role involves applying both soft and hard HR strategies, focusing on main business strategies, considering the commercial aspects of HR, and being sensitive to the pressures within a highly competitive, evolving sector.
The HR Advisor will ensure a proactive HR department, offering advice and practical solutions to prevent issues. The role requires creative thinking, change management skills, professionalism under workload pressure, and overseeing programs for sales and central services.
Core Responsibilities

HR Administration & Generalist support
* Provide excellent HR support and advisory services to senior managers and internal clients.
* Liaise with group HR and payroll partners across Europe and the US.
* Work proactively with 1st-3rd line HR support, including business managers, directors, and senior executives.
* Manage employment contracts, starter packs, internal transfers, leavers, and exit interviews.
* Monitor absences, maintain HR records, and ensure accurate filing and documentation.
* Update HR processes, support induction schedules, and handle maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave requests.
* Assist in maintaining and updating job descriptions and HR policies.
* Contribute ideas for HR support improvements.
General HR
* Collaborate with sales and other departments, promoting policies on performance, equality, and diversity.
* Manage HR records, develop policies, advise on pay, and support employee engagement initiatives.
* Assist with salary reviews, appraisals, and staff attrition analysis.
* Interpret employment law, handle grievances, and develop HR planning strategies.
* Oversee incentives, support change management, and contribute to special HR projects.
Employee Relations
* Support investigation meetings, monitor performance management, and maintain disciplinary records.
* Support appraisal processes, disciplinary actions, and employee welfare concerns.
Reward
* Manage employee benefits, support reward initiatives, and update holiday balances.
Reporting
* Generate monthly sickness reports, and ad hoc reports for management and board meetings.
Payroll (if applicable)
* Input data, ensure accuracy, produce reports, and review payroll processes.
HR Compliance
* Document evidence for HR meetings, ensure compliance with visas, passports, IDs, invoices, pensions, and legal requirements.
Skills/Experience Required
* CIPD Level 5 or higher, Degree qualification, HR experience, and extensive administrative skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information, be organized, and communicate effectively.
* Proactive, assertive, and capable of influencing decisions.
* Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and resilience under pressure.
Further Experience/Skills
* Knowledge of employment law, legal and best practices, and international HR experience preferred.
