Key Responsibilities:
1. Responding to HR enquiries via telephone and email
2. Following administration processes for new starters, contract changes, and leavers; issuing documents, monitoring returns, and ensuring checks are completed accurately and timely; keeping stakeholders updated
3. Collating monthly overtime and inputting data into payroll software (iTrent)
4. Managing employee documents and records in line with GDPR
5. Providing HR information for reference requests
6. Handling recruitment and onboarding: collecting information, drafting adverts, scheduling interviews, completing pre-recruitment checks, liaising with line managers and candidates
7. Monitoring new starter information and input into the school’s SCR
8. Monitoring expiry of fixed-term contracts and internal processes; sending documentation to line managers and collecting returns
9. Working with IT systems including Word, Excel, and HR/Payroll System (iTrent)
10. General office admin such as employee filing
