About the Project
This particular opportunity involves supporting the delivery of a London-based redevelopment, with a contract value in excess of £40M. The scheme includes full Cat A works and presents an ideal chance to gain experience on a technically challenging, city-centre project.
Role Overview – Site Manager
As a Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of all on-site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, manage logistics, and drive productivity across multiple workstreams, working collaboratively with the wider delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all aspects of site-based construction activities from mobilisation through to completion.
* Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflows.
* Prepare and maintain short-term look-aheads to keep the project on track and resolve any issues proactively.
* Enforce a culture of health & safety excellence, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
* Monitor progress against programme, quality standards, and budgets, reporting regularly to senior leadership.
* Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Ideal Candidate
Candidates should bring experience in commercial fit-out and/or refurbishment, ideally on complex or large-scale projects. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential.
