Senior Freight Sales Executive - 2 Years' Experience Required - St. Albans - Permanent Role. Salary: Circa £55,000 Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 Silver Arrow require an experienced Freight Senior Business Executive to work for a Transport and Logistics company based in the St Albans, Hertfordshire area. The Freight Senior Business Executive role focuses on driving growth by winning new clients while building and strengthening existing relationships. The position involves strategic discussions, detailed proposal development and face to face client meetings to clearly demonstrate the company's value. Following onboarding, you will also work to identify and grow opportunities within established accounts. Your Role: Proactively identify and approach prospective clients through targeted outreach to create new business opportunities Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with both new and existing clients to support ongoing account growth. Produce and present tailored proposals and quotations, responding to client queries and using effective strategies to secure new contracts. Provide guidance to clients on European Union shipping requirements and relevant regulatory considerations. Lead negotiations with clients and suppliers to achieve positive, commercially sound outcomes. Manage accounts to ensure a high level of client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for upselling and business expansion. Take part in team meetings to share insights, progress updates and best practices. Support marketing initiatives, contributing to social media content, promotional materials and email campaigns. What we need from you: Must have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the Freight industry. Good commercial sense. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Strong background in account management, with experience growing and developing existing client portfolios Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients. Demonstrable ability to win new business through proactive outreach, networking and relationship building. Experienced negotiator with strong closing skills and the ability to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Solid understanding of market trends, customer needs and competitor activity, with the ability to adapt sales strategies accordingly. At Silver Arrow, our priority is you.
