Job summary
We are seeking enthusiastic cooks to join the team at Holy Name Care Home. The role involves preparing and cooking meals for up to 64 patients with varying dietary requirements, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and working as part of the primary care healthcare team.
Responsibilities include operating within a residential establishment under the supervision of a care leader.
Main duties of the job
To prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals in a residential/Reablement setting for patients aged 18 or over requiring rehabilitation.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential):
* NVQ Level 2 in Food Production/Nutrition or equivalent
* Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent
Knowledge (Essential):
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe working practices
* Understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act
* Awareness of CHCP and its mission
* Knowledge of advanced food hygiene processes
* Understanding of dietary requirements
Experience (Essential):
* Experience working in a kitchen within a health and care setting
* Experience maintaining records
Desirable:
* Experience working with the public
