 
        
        Conference & Events Sales Executive
Restaurant Associates UK – Churchill War Rooms, London
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full‑time, Monday–Friday
We are looking for a dynamic sales executive to drive corporate business across our three iconic London venues. The role involves proactive enquiry handling, cross‑selling, preparing proposals, securing bookings, and maintaining accurate reporting.
Responsibilities
 * Undertake reactive sales activities, responding to voice and email enquiries.
 * Cross‑sell multi‑location proposals across three London venues.
 * Produce professional, accurate proposals and provide best options immediately.
 * Follow up on all enquiries within a specified time frame and convert them to confirmed bookings, optimising conversion rates.
 * Secure venue show rounds for BDMs and Event Planners.
 * Achieve agreed sales targets by driving conversion.
 * Issue contracts to customers once bookings are confirmed.
 * Ensure all booking details are handed over accurately to the Event Planner.
 * Make proactive calls to past bookers, lost enquiries, and lapsed accounts.
 * Work alongside BDMs and Event Planners to nurture relationships and maximise all sales and upselling opportunities.
 * Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date reports and information.
 * Maintain compliance benchmarks.
 * Maintain relationships with regional agent accounts alongside BDMs.
 * Support innovative campaigns for the sales and marketing plan.
 * Achieve and exceed agreed sales campaign targets.
 * Attend local/national FAM trips and showcases.
 * Respond positively and efficiently to customers, ensuring repeat business is optimised.
 * Perform ad‑hoc tasks as directed.
The Ideal Candidate
 * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a proactive enquiry handling sales role, preferably at a high‑profile Conference & Events venue, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets; minimum 1 year experience in the London market.
 * Previous experience with a diary management system.
 * Multi‑site selling experience.
 * High commercial awareness and understanding of links between sales and profit.
 * Excellent written communication.
 * Strong organisational skills.
 * Ability to sell a product/package.
 * Enthusiastic and confident.
 * Ability to deal with a wide range of people.
 * Excellent attention to detail.
 * Previous experience in the hospitality sector.
 * Knowledge of Delphi booking system (not essential).
