Job Overview:Role Title: Java Full stack developerLocation: KnutsfordDuration: 31/12/2026Pay Rates: £318/day MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLADays on site: 2–3
Role Description:Experience expected: 6+ yearsBasic/ Essential Qualifications:
1. Strong experience in Java (version 17+) software development including Spring Boot framework (version 3+) with strong core Java skills including but not limited to Generics, OOPS, Collections, Multithreading, I/O, Streams, REST, and JPA
2. Strong knowledge of Microservice development using Spring Boot
3. Strong knowledge of Camunda BPM 8+ and BPMN and DMN
4. Knowledge of web front-end development using HTML5, TypeScript and React Js 16+ or Angular 10+
5. Proficient in reading, writing and debugging multithreaded Java code
6. Hands-on experience in enterprise design patterns and web architectures
7. Experience of memory and performance profiling
8. Pub/sub Middleware experience ( Kafka, MQ)
9. Tools experience – JIRA, GIT, IntelliJ IDEA, Gitlab and Docker
10. Strong experience in AWS services such as Lamda, Step function and IAM
11. Proficiency in unit testing (Junit 4/5), Karma or Jest, code quality metrics & BDD and TDD approaches.
12. Strong knowledge of relational databases (ideally MS SQL server DB)
13. Strongmunication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to understandplex problems and translate them into solutions.
14. Experience with technologies supporting development, continuous integration, automated testing and deployment
15. Working experience in Agile Methodology.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
16. Knowledge and experience with OpenShift and other cloud-based solutions is a plus.
17. Structured approach to problem-solving and ability to manage parallel streams of work.
18. Good interpersonal and written/oralmunications skills.

21. Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
22. Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technologymunities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
23. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
24. Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
