You will be responsible for:Preparing and serving food during break and lunchtime servicesSupporting additional catering requirements such as buffet-style meals for school events or third-party lettingsManaging stock levels, ordering, and kitchen recordsMaintaining food safety standards and compliance with HACCP, allergen management, COSHH, and food hygiene regulationsYour impact will be felt every day as you collaborate with a team dedicated to help ensure smooth operations, minimal waste, and an excellent student experience.What We're Looking ForProven experience in a catering or kitchen management roleA catering qualification is preferredStrong organisational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a teamKnowledge of food safety, allergen management, and health & safety complianceExperience managing stock, ordering, and maintaining kitchen recordsA proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet service deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to adapt to changing service requirements within a school environmentAbout The SchoolYsgol Gyfun GymunedolPenweddig is a Welsh-speaking school with approximately 600 pupils, ranging from 11 to 18 years old, supported by around 50 teaching staff.The school is easily accessible, situated on a regular bus route, and provides free on-site car parking for staff.Lunch and morning break supervision is provided by school staff, with breakfast-type snacks available in the morning, and a full lunch service during your shift.
