We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Portsmouth.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day delivery of infrastructure and M&E-related construction works
* Coordinate subcontractors delivering mechanical installations, steelwork, plant installations and associated building works
* Oversee site activities including lifting operations, plant installation and structural modifications
* Review engineering drawings, mechanical layouts and installation sequences
* Manage site logistics in a live operational dockyard environment
* Ensure all works comply with H&S regulations, permits and operational constraints
* Prepare and review RAMS, lift plans and site safety documentation
* Monitor programme progress and coordinate multiple trades
* Maintain accurate site records including site diaries and progress reports
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants and the client team
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial, infrastructure or M&E projects
* Experience managing plant installations, mechanical works or heavy infrastructure
* Experience working in operational facilities or live environments
* Understanding of mechanical services, plant installations or industrial construction
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Competent in maths and IT skills relevant to site management.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
* CSCS (Managers card preferred)
* First Aid at Work, Temporary Works and Appointed Person / Lift Supervisor Certification desirable
* Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) testing and BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting.
* First Aid at Work desirable
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
