Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable tradesperson with a strong background in painting, decorating, basic carpentry, and general handyman duties. The role involves finishing works, snagging, and maintaining high standards of workmanship across a variety of tasks on-site., Carry out painting, decorating, and finishing works to a high standard (interior & exterior).
Responsibilities
* Undertake painting, decorating, and finishing works to a high standard (interior & exterior).
* Undertake carpentry snagging, including door adjustments, skirting, architraves, and minor joinery.
* Perform general handyman tasks such as minor repairs, fittings, and maintenance.
* Complete snag lists provided by the site manager or client.
* Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
* Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
* Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience as a painter/decorator, carpenter, or multi-trades handyman.
* Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
* Knowledge of tools, materials, and safe working practices.
* Ability to work from snag lists and rectify defects efficiently.
* Good problem-solving skills and flexibility to take on varied tasks.
* CSCS card
* Own tools and transport
* Site-based role.
* Full-time hours with potential overtime.
* Indoor and outdoor work depending on projects.
