Job Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using Blue Prism, following established standards and best practice.
* Assist in the design and implementation of Microsoft Power Platform applications, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
* Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and service leads to translate business requirements into effective automation solutions.
* Maintain and enhance existing automations, ensuring reliability and ongoing value.
* Produce technical documentation, reusable components, and accurate process records.
* Support users and colleagues in understanding and adopting automated solutions.
* Ensure compliance with Information Governance, data protection, and cybersecurity requirements.
* Contribute to process improvement, testing, and innovation activities within the automation team.
* Participate in knowledge‑sharing and skill‑building across the wider digital team.
Person Specification
Essential
* Degree‑level education or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 2 to 3 years experience in automation development, ideally including Blue Prism.
* Practical understanding of the RPA lifecycle and exception handling.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.
* Experience integrating systems via APIs, web services, or databases (SQL).
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and meet agreed deadlines.
* Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.
Experience
* Blue Prism Developer certification (Foundation or Professional).
* Experience working within the NHS or other large public‑sector organisations.
* Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies.
* Knowledge of other RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
* Awareness of cloud environments and virtual workforce management.
