The Opportunity
We’re working with a highly regarded main contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a brand new school build in Haverfordwest. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a vital education project that will serve the local community for years to come.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll report directly to the Lead Project Manager or Contracts Manager on site and oversee the day-to-day running of key build packages. You’ll ensure the programme stays on track and work closely with trades and suppliers to maintain high standards across the board.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee site operations and ensure delivery in line with programme
*
Manage subcontractors and direct labour on a daily basis
*
Maintain site safety, quality and environmental standards
*
Coordinate with the Lead PM/Contracts Manager for reporting and issue resolution
*
Support site logistics and ensure efficient sequencing of works
About You
We’re looking for candidates who:
*
Have experience delivering projects as a Site Manager – ideally in education or public sector builds
*
Hold SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
*
Demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills
*
Are proactive, safety-conscious and results-driven
*
Live locally to Haverfordwest or surrounding areas (essential)
