Job Title: Retrofit Site Manager Location: Birmingham Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 This is an opportunity to join a a leader in sustainable construction and energy efficiency retrofit solutions. The company specialise in delivering high-quality retrofit projects to decarbonise homes and buildings across the UK, with a focus on improving energy efficiency. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of retrofit projects with a focus on External Wall Insulation (EWI) across residential and public sector properties. The Role As the Retrofit Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the on-site management and successful delivery of EWI and other retrofit works in line with PAS 2035 standards. You will lead on health & safety compliance, contractor coordination, quality assurance, and schedule management, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards and within budget and time constraints. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day operations of retrofit sites, with a strong emphasis on External Wall Insulation installation. * Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with PAS 2035, building regulations, and H&S legislation. * Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct staff. * Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks. * Monitor project progress, prepare site reports, and attend project meetings. * Act as the main point of contact for clients, residents, and project stakeholders on-site. * Ensure compliance with Retrofit Coordinator specifications and support evidence collection for TrustMark requirements. Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally in retrofit or energy efficiency projects. * Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems. * SMSTS * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across project sites.
