Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established logistics business based in Stanford-le-Hope.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing transport and logistics company with a strong reputation in the industry. As HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business across the full HR lifecycle. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, taking ownership of day-to-day HR activity, helping shape the people strategy, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
* Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through to exit
* Handle employee relations, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances
* Keep HR policies and procedures up to date and in line with best practice
* Advise and support managers on performance, absence management, and development
* Coordinate training and compliance needs, including CPC and manual handling
* Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting
* Work with directors on workforce planning and organisational development
* Lead employee engagement initiatives and support internal communications
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a standalone HR role or as an HR Manager (experience in logistics or transport is desirable)
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
* Confident in managing ER cases and advising at all levels
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law
