JOB TITLE: HR Administrator

Centred (Scotland) is a progressive charitable company based in the Highlands, supporting people through mental ill health towards mental wellbeing. With services across Caithness, Easter Ross, Inverness and Lochaber, we are proud to be at the heart of wellbeing in the communities we serve.
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated HR Administrator to join our People team.
The Role
As HR Administrator, you'll play a key role in the smooth running of our HR function, providing full administrative support across the employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to contract changes and leavers, you'll ensure our people processes are efficient, accurate, and delivered to a high standard.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
* Coordinating recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews and preparing offers.
* Acting as the first point of contact for candidate and employee queries.
* Supporting onboarding by preparing induction packs, setting up IT requests, and ensuring all documentation is complete.
* Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records on our systems.
* Providing payroll with timely and accurate information (new starts, leavers, absences, contractual changes).
* Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives to enhance our employee experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experienced in administration, ideally with exposure to HR (though this is not essential).
* A team player with a proactive and professional approach.
* Ambitious, with the drive to grow alongside a developing HR function.
This role has real scope to grow as the department evolves, so we're looking for someone who is not only capable of managing day-to-day tasks, but also keen to develop, take ownership, and contribute to the shaping of our People function.
Previous experience and HR qualifications would be an advantage, but what matters most is a genuine interest in HR and the motivation to build your career in this area.
What's on Offer?
At Centred, we value our people and offer a rewarding benefits package, including:
* Competitive rate of pay
* 32 days' paid holiday a year, increasing up to 35 days.
* Buy and sell holiday days using our HolidayPlus scheme

* Employee assistance programme and access to health and wellbeing support
* Flexible working patterns to support work-life balance
* Funded training and access to a variety of training courses relevant to your career progression
