Job Title: Site Manager – New Build Industrial Unit
Location: Hounslow, London
Project Value: £5 million
Contract Duration: 12 months
Start Date: In 4 weeks
Role Overview:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will oversee subcontractors, manage site logistics, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise all site activities for the new-build industrial unit.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives to meet programme and budget requirements.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, quality standards, and CDM regulations.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to provide regular updates and progress reports.
* Monitor site progress, manage risk, and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays.
* Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, progress reports, and material tracking.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience managing new-build industrial unit projects.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and site management procedures.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* CSCS card and relevant construction qualifications.
