Key Responsibilities
Embedding new organisational values and expected behaviours, with a strong emphasis on equity and inclusion in all parts of the employee lifecycle.
Leading employee engagement, employee experience, and wellbeing strategies and inclusion initiatives, including mental health, flexible work, and work/life balance.
Developing internal communication and connection frameworks that support clarity, alignment, and belonging.
Leading on employer branding.
Championing a culture of psychological safety, trauma-informed practice, and supportive leadership.
Owning the recruitment strategy and inclusive attraction practices, including diverse shortlisting and bias mitigation.
Developing hiring manager capability through training and guidance in inclusive recruitment and interviewing and ensuring all recruitment processes reflect organisational culture, values, and EDI commitments.
Creating clear career pathways and progression models and leading performance management frameworks that support growth, accountability, fairness, and engagement.
Building scalable frameworks for employee retention, engagement, wellbeing, and development.
Leading the organisation's EDI strategy, including accountability, measurement, and reporting.
Skills and Experience
CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5).
Demonstrated experience leading culture transformation and embedding values-driven ways of working.
Proven track record of designing and delivering talent, learning, and leadership development strategies.
Strong experience in recruitment and employer branding, including building scalable hiring frameworks.
Experience developing and implementing wellbeing programmes and initiatives, including mental health, flexible work, and employee support systems.
Experience leading EDI strategies and initiatives, including measurable outcomes and reporting.
Strong change management experience, including supporting teams through growth and transformation.
Experience using people data and analytics to inform strategy and drive outcomes.
Experience working with senior leaders and acting as a trusted advisor.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams.
Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to craft sensitive messaging.

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + £6,500 car allowance.
Location: Hybrid, based in the Bath office (Newton St Loe, Bath BA2 9BU), with travel around the Duchy Estate as required.
