Within this structure, Raisin UK’s Quality Control function supports regulatory domains with heightened oversight requirements. The Senior Financial Crime Quality Manager will be fully embedded in UK operations, while remaining an integral part of the cross-market Quality team. The role will be based in the UK and contribute directly to the group-wide QC framework, with a focus on local execution and regulatory alignment. This role is designed as a hands-on, individual contributor position with a strong operational focus on quality reviews, reporting, and remediation tracking. This role will work closely with AML Operations and Compliance teams to enhance our financial crime framework, conduct thematic reviews, and guide continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Define and implement a robust Financial Crime Quality Control (QC) strategy aligned with the UK regulatory framework (FCA, JMLSG, etc.) and internal and external requirements, SLAs and KPIs. Design and implement a comprehensive QC testing programme to assess the effectiveness of 1st line financial crime controls (e.g., KYC/EDD onboarding, transaction monitoring, SARs). Serve as the primary subject matter expert for financial crime QC activities within Raisin UK. Review operational processes and casework to identify gaps and recommend improvements. Produce periodic high-quality assurance reports for internal and external use with actionable insights, highlighting trends, root causes, and remediation plans. Assisting in the monitoring internal adherence to policy and regulatory changes, proposing updates where necessary. Lead and oversee QC-related remediation initiatives. Support the UK Management in responding to regulatory inquiries, audits, and inspections relating to financial crime controls and quality assurance. Act as back-up for the current manager responsible for Customer Service Complaints QC, ensuring continuity of operations and oversight during absences. Your Profile Proven experience in a senior financial crime, AML, or compliance quality assurance role in the UK financial services sector (with minimum 3 years of experience). Deep understanding of UK financial crime laws, regulations (FCA Handbook, POCA, MLRs, etc.), and industry best practices. Familiarity with fintech and digital banking models is a strong advantage. Experience implementing entity-level QC programmes. Strong analytical, risk assessment and reporting skills. Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills and ability to demonstrate stakeholder management across all levels of seniority.
