Duties and responsibilities : Support develop and design job descriptions to attract the best candidates working closely with the Head of Department. Act as a brand standard employee throughout To support at all stages of the recruitment process including external and internal recruitment fairs. Support the entire employee life cycle including exit interview, new starter process and leaver activities. This will include reference requests. Assist the HR Manager with the work permit checks to ensure company compliance. Complete birthday list, long service list Assist with the Employee of the month nominations Assist with the Employee of the year nomination Assist with service award and Christmas Party Assist with the recruitment process from processing authority to recruit forms, advertise on social media platforms Update the Organisational Charts on a monthly basis Support and maintain electronic HR file in the Fourth HR system, ensuring all paperwork is filled in the correct locations. Assist with minor payroll queries Assist with the collection of company property such as uniform and locker keys Assist with the drafting of job descriptions Assist with the Company induction Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation To issue employee contracts in accordance with legislation and keep the HR manager updated ensuring that company standards are maintained. Ensure procedures, documentation and correspondence is compliant with legislation and company procedures. Support and provide guidance through being a note taker with the management of grievance, disciplinary or redundancy situations, attending formal hearings where appropriate and producing appropriate documentation and correspondence Assist manager through coaching through low level employee relations issues. Support implementation of business change initiatives as a note taker including TUPE transfers, redundancies, reorganisations and new business acquisition. To assist manager to develop Training Plans and identify training needs of team members and Managers. To support the HR Manager with development of Departmental Training through specific departmental trainers, SOPs, and management coaching To ensure all statutory departmental training is conducted throughout the business in conjunction with the Security manager Conduct exit interviews for leavers of the business Support the monthly new starter induction day. Support HOD with employment and transfer from one department to another and any generalist employment related Assist the HR Manager in the performance of all HR duties within the business and assist in developing policies and procedures. Collate and distribute Organisation Charts for Senior Management team on a monthly basis. Support with a newsletter on a 6-8 week basis. To professionally address all general ad hoc HR queries. Support the Security department with the Health & Safety namely risk assessments for pregnancy workers and those people returning back to work from long term sickness absence. Assist with ad hoc requests of a reasonable nature from Senior Manager.
