We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our teams at Grant House and Glen Centre. The role of Driver/Handyman involves maintaining indoor and outdoor gardens of the residential care home, assisting with the pick-up and drop-off of day care attendees, conducting fire tests, and performing painting and decorating tasks.
The responsibilities include ensuring maintenance within the care home is carried out effectively and that health & safety checks are completed promptly to safeguard staff, visitors, and residents. Compliance with relevant legislation is also required.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

From 1 April 2024, NHS Scotland will reduce the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours without pay change. This change will be applied pro-rata for part-time staff.
