We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping young people with SEN gain the skills and confidence in and out of the classroom.
About the Role:
* Provide tailored support to learners with SEN, both in the classroom and during practical lessons.
* Develop positive and trusting relationships with learners, fostering a supportive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents/carers and other professionals to create personalised learning plans.
* Contribute to the assessment of learners' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of learner progress.
* Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to individual needs and learning styles.
You will be:
* Patient, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting young people with SEN.
* A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Able to build rapport and trust with learners quickly.
* Flexible and adaptable, able to think on your feet and problem-solve.
* A full UK driving licence holder with a clean driving record.
* Motor insurance, including business use.
