Rooted in clinical expertise, lived experience, and a culture of compassion, we deliver medico-legal reports, private neurodivergence assessments, workplace coaching, and inclusive leadership training.
Over the last year, we’ve seen a massive surge in demand across our sectors from employers seeking inclusive workplace assessments to professionals pursuing private diagnosis and coaching. This growth reflects a clear truth, the world is finally ready to prioritise neuro/physical inclusion and wellbeing.

We are now seeking an experienced, strategic, and values-driven Head of People & Culture to help shape our internal culture and external impact through this exciting period of growth.
Job Summary
Reporting directly to our CEO, you’ll lead and evolve the People & Culture function across the Alliance creating a thriving, inclusive environment for our clinical, coaching, and operational teams. You’ll be both a strategic architect and cultural champion, designing policies and frameworks that empower people to deliver meaningful, human-centred work.
This role blends strategy, empathy, and innovation. You’ll help us sustain our momentum, embed our lived experience-led values, and ensure every colleague feels connected, supported, and celebrated.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver
People Strategy & Leadership
* Design and deliver a People & Culture strategy aligned with our purpose and growth goals.
* Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on structure, workforce planning, and culture.
* Build, mentor, and lead a values-aligned People function that combines compliance, wellbeing, and development.
* Lead organisational change with empathy, integrity, and a neuro-inclusive lens.
Employee Experience & Development
* Shape a People function that balances wellbeing, autonomy, and performance.
* Develop learning and coaching pathways that empower personal and professional growth for clinicians, assessors, and operational teams.
* Use people insights and data to strengthen engagement, retention, and productivity.
* Ensure legal compliance (contracts, policies, right-to-work, and data protection) across all People operations.
Culture, DEI & Engagement
* Champion a culture of neuro-inclusion, belonging, and psychological safety across every touchpoint.
* Design inclusive onboarding and offboarding experiences that reinforce clarity, purpose, and connection.
* Lead internal communications, wellbeing initiatives, and staff engagement programmes that celebrate difference and build connection.
* Embed practical DEI principles drawn from our own clinical and lived-experience expertise.
Purpose, Impact & Growth
* Act as a cultural ambassador for neurodiversity, equality, and wellbeing in all People practices.
* Align our People strategy with Apollowell’s mission and sustainability principles.
* Partner with leadership to ensure our internal culture mirrors the inclusive outcomes we deliver to clients.
What You Bring
* Senior-level experience in a People, HR, or Culture leadership role, ideally within purpose-led or professional services environments.
* Deep understanding of inclusive, equity-centred HR practices and organisational wellbeing.
* Strong grasp of UK employment law and HR compliance.
* Strategic, data-informed thinker with a people-first mindset.
* Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and stakeholder influence skills.
* Experience working with or supporting neurodivergent teams (professional or personal lived experience is a plus).
