Stockport Café Connect based within Stockport Connect Hub, offers a warm and welcoming environment along with freshly prepared food and good company to people engaged in the service as well as the wider community. The café also offers a safe space for people who are isolated or in need of drop in support from our team of support workers. We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join the team and help develop the café’s offer. The role will involve working 4 hours a day Monday to Friday over lunch times to plan, prepare and sell a small range of provide hot and cold meals and snacks. You will ensure that food which is prepared and presented is of a high standard, and in line with the expectations of the café. As well as ensure the kitchen environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene to stated standards and to ensure a cleaning rota is completed daily, weekly and monthly maintaining appropriate records as required.
