Safeguarding Manager
Clinical Partners is one of the UK’s leading private mental health service providers, and we’re looking for an experienced Safeguarding Manager to join our Governance and Compliance Team.
You’ll take organisationwide responsibility for safeguarding adults, children and young people across Clinical Partners and Oxford ADHD Centre, providing both strategic leadership and operational oversight.
This is a senior, highimpact role where you’ll shape safeguarding culture, lead complex casework and ensure our services meet all statutory requirements, national guidance and internal safeguarding standards. You’ll strengthen our safeguarding frameworks, support clinical and operational teams, and ensure learning and improvement are embedded into everyday practice.
This hybrid/remote role requires occasional travel to Clinical Partners & Oxford ADHD Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead safeguarding strategy and operational practice across CP and OAC
* Ensure compliance with statutory guidance (Care Act, Working Together, MCA, DoLS, PREVENT)
* Oversee complex safeguarding cases, investigations and multiagency referrals
* Maintain robust safeguarding policies, escalation routes and outofhours arrangements
* Provide expert safeguarding advice to senior leaders and governance committees
* Lead safeguarding governance meetings and contribute to clinical governance reviews
* Oversee statutory notifications to CQC and local safeguarding boards
* Provide expert oversight of Best Interest decisions and multiagency discussions
* Support learning from incidents, reviews and LeDeR processes
* Design and deliver safeguarding training and support Safeguarding Champions
* Build strong relationships with local authorities, safeguarding boards and multiagency partners
* Represent the organisation at interagency meetings, strategy discussions and reviews
Requirements:

* A qualification in social work, nursing or a related discipline; experience in mental health or neurodevelopmental services; familiarity with casemanagement systems (Desirable)
Remuneration and Benefits:
* £50,000-£60,000 annual salary DOE
* 25 days paid holiday (increasing with service to 28 days) plus bank holidays.
