The successful candidate will join a highly ranked group at a firm noted for its international platform. Responsibilities
* Significant experience in running transactional projects including due diligence and negotiation of transactional documents.
* Significant experience and knowledge of TUPE in both service provision and asset purchase transactions.
* Strong project management skills and ability to run the employment aspects of transactions with limited input and supervision from Partners.
* Have proven technical legal skills in corporate transactions, ideally in one or more of our relevant industry sectors.
* Have a strong, well-rounded, HR Advisory background.
* Have the experience and ability to operate autonomously.
* Enjoy direct client contact and building client relationships.
* Are proactive with a positive attitude.
* Have a hands-on, flexible approach to providing high quality client service.
* Are fully involved and engaged in business development initiatives and proactive in developing their own business development plan, aligned with the firm's strategy.
* Are ambitious and wish to develop and take on responsibility.
* Confidence on client calls, especially multi-party transactional calls.
* Experience in key sectors (transport, energy and infrastructure) is helpful, but not essential.
* Strong team player.
* Salary is negotiable but would begin at c£130k up to c£150 dependent on level and experience (plus bonus and benefits)
Required Skills
* 6+ years of post-qualification experience working within the Employment department of a top law firm.
* Significant experience in running transactional projects including due diligence and negotiation of transactional documents.
