This role would particularly suit someone who can understand mechanical technology and how it interfaces with existing buildings, is digitally aware, and comfortable communicating complex information and proposals to a wide range of private and public sector stakeholders, including Main Contractors, FM’s, industry experts, and others. The role requires someone capable of opening doors and creating market opportunities.
Initially, this position will be primarily office/home-based until a suitable region is defined.
Main responsibilities
* Ownership of the full sales cycle: identifying and creating new sales leads, tendering, order processes, lift design, and handovers to KONE installation and maintenance teams.
* Developing and maintaining customer relationships.
* Upselling KONE digital IoT service solutions.
* Meeting business objectives, sales targets, and pricing goals in the designated market area.
* Collaborating with the team to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Reporting sales and customer data accurately and timely.
Skills and experience required
* Experience in the lifts industry is essential.
* Proven ability to open new customer accounts and manage existing ones.
* Solution-oriented sales approach.
* Customer-centric mindset and innovative thinking.
* Strong interpersonal and team skills to access and work with various networks.
* Previous success in sales and customer relationship management.
* Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
* Basic understanding of contractual and financial terms.
* Proficiency with IT tools and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
