Quality Manager
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum plus performance related bonus

An established precision machining business serving the Aerospace sector for over 25 years is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join its leadership team in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the Quality Management System within a highly regulated and technically advanced environment.
The Role
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the AS9100D Quality Management System, ensuring full compliance with industry and customer standards. You will act as the focal point for all quality related matters across the business, working closely with internal teams, customers and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:

Maintenance and continuous improvement of the AS9100D Quality Management System
*
Monitoring, investigation and resolution of non conformances
*
Managing customer quality concerns and driving effective corrective actions
*
Liaising with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
*
Control and maintenance of engineering drawings and specifications
*
Oversight of training records and compliance documentation
*
Inspection of machined components where required
*
Conducting and reporting on internal audits
*
Leading regular quality review meetings with the management team
About You
You will be a proactive and detail focused quality professional with an engineering background and a strong understanding of quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Previous experience maintaining AS9100 or equivalent Quality Management Systems

An engineering or manufacturing background
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills
*
A methodical and structured approach to problem solving
*
The ability to work collaboratively across departments
*
Experience within the Aerospace industry is advantageous
