Job Purpose
We are looking for someone to work onsite (ideally Monday - Friday) on a part time basis to provide effective HR support to the Senior HR Business Partners, the wider HR team and the Unipart Rail and Technology Sector. There is a wide range of HR activities covered within this role covering the full employee lifecycle providing support to HRBP’s and Line Managers. Please note that this is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
Principal Accountabilities
Working in line with HR policies and procedures provide HR Support for all sites which involves absence meetings and supporting Line Management with performance at a local level. With emphasis on wellbeing and engagement you will play a pivotal role in the management of both for Crewe Service Centre and providing support to HRBP’s on other sites.
About You
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise technical / operational documentation and effective reporting)
* CIPD accreditation
* Advanced proficiency with Google sheets and strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
* You will ideally have experience of health surveillance schedules and possess excellent organisational skills
* You should love data! You will be able to manipulate large volumes of data into presentable formats for the team including the HR Director
* Display a growth mindset with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure, no day is the same
* You will have a keen interest in wellbeing and engagement with a willingness to lead on site and Group initiatives. You will lead engagement activities on site working closely with the Senior HRBP to identify within budgetary constraints
* You will enjoy being an active Wellbeing Champion and Forum member
* You will have knowledge of a wide range of HR policies and procedures and employment law is required
* You will be site champion for a Workforce Management System (T&A) supporting managers with exceptions and queries and generate monthly reports Finance and Payroll KPI’s including the Board Report
