As Global Head, People & Culture, you’ll be the architect of our people strategy and the driving force behind operational excellence across multiple countries. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You’ll lead the People team, partner with senior leaders, and design scalable processes that enable our expansion from 100 to 250 employees and beyond. From shaping organizational design and workforce planning to fostering leadership capability and integrating new businesses, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports our ambitious growth plans. Location: UK (outside London) Work Mode: Fully Remote Compensation: £60,000–£75,000 What you’ll do Define and execute a global People strategy covering organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, and career growth. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all aspects of people, culture, and performance. Build and scale the People function to support rapid global growth. Shape a strong, inclusive culture that promotes clarity, feedback, learning, and well-being. Lead talent acquisition strategy and participate in key hiring decisions. Oversee compensation, benefits, and Employee Value Proposition for competitiveness across markets. Ensure compliance with employment laws in all operating countries. Use data and insights to measure impact and improve People initiatives. Coach and develop leaders to strengthen capability and team success. Drive programs for career development, succession planning, leadership growth, technical skills, and DEI. Develop clear policies, playbooks and frameworks to support consistent and scalable people practices. Lead People & Culture integration for M&A activities. Act as a core member of the leadership team, contributing to overall strategy and decision-making. What we’re looking for 10 years in generalist HR roles, including experience in scaling environments (100–250 employees). Background in Software, SaaS, Technology, or Professional Services, ideally in global high-growth businesses. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change in fast-paced settings. Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution: ability to lead while actively driving and executing key initiatives together with the People team. Proven success in building and scaling HR systems across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, and L&D. Skilled in workforce planning, staffing budgets, payroll and benchmarking. Solid knowledge of UK employment law; familiarity with employment legislation in other operating countries (e.g., Finland, Sweden, France, Switzerland, US, Singapore) is a strong plus. Confidence in managing cross-country HR matters and engaging external expertise when needed. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align with commercial drivers. Experience in leading teams and fostering development within the team. Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills; highly collaborative and effective at influencing and challenging when needed. High emotional intelligence and courage in handling challenging conversations. Commitment to confidentiality and ethics, with awareness of data privacy principles and best practices for handling sensitive HR information. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Certification in coaching or in any relevant HR tool is considered as a plus.
