Redhill Hub HR Officer - Based in one of our Epsom and Redhill Schools (St. Francis or St. Joseph's) - (to be discussed at interview).
Woking/Weybridge Hub HR Officer - Based centrally in Chertsey with regular visits to the individual schools.
Salary: Starting on PS 7 (FTE £32,512 - £34,654), depending on experience.
Hours: 28 - 36 hours per week (to be discussed at interview), 42 weeks per year.

Xavier Catholic Education Trust is seeking two unique individuals to join their HR team and become the HR Officer for a number of schools within a designated Hub. These are new roles to extend our HR capacity as a result of the Trusts' growth and restructure. The HR Officer, supported by the HR Director/HR Manager, will provide HR advice and support, and manage HR systems within statutory regulations and XCET policy, to enable the efficient functioning of the schools assigned to them. The HR Officer will liaise with Headteachers, Central Finance Managers and the Central Team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Relevant HR qualification, ideally CIPD level 3 or above or able to evidence knowledge and understanding of HR through experience in HR. Willingness to study for a relevant professional qualification if appropriate.
* Commitment to the Catholic ethos and education of young people.
* The ability to be both organised and flexible, responsive to change and able to give professional advice in a clear and concise way.
* Strong commitment to team success, focused on working together to support the central team and schools within the Trust.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administration with experience in the use of HR systems and IT packages such as Word, Excel.
* Experience of working in HR either within an educational setting or as an HR generalist.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

The Central team supports the schools across a wide spectrum of areas including Finance, HR, Estates, communication, Teaching & Learning and support for children with additional needs. The team are based at Salesian School in Chertsey and travel to the individual schools on a regular basis.
