Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager to join our Regional Civils team covering the North East region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring quality excellence across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, supporting operational teams from project mobilisation through to successful delivery. As Quality Manager, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems across the regional civils business. You will work closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to promote a culture of right first time delivery and continual improvement.
Responsibilities
* Supporting project teams in the development and implementation of project quality plans
* Conducting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across live sites
* Driving continual improvement initiatives and lessons learned activities
* Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and company procedures
* Supporting investigations into non-conformances and implementing corrective actions
* Providing guidance, coaching, and training to operational teams
* Monitoring quality performance metrics and reporting trends to senior leadership
* Working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to maintain high standards of delivery
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality assurance role
* A strong understanding of civil engineering and infrastructure delivery
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 and integrated management systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Audit qualifications or experience conducting internal audits
* A proactive approach with the ability to influence and support operational teams
