We're working with a specialist fit-out company delivering high-end commercial joinery projects with a value up to £25 million. They are seeking a skilled Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily site activities, coordinating labour and subcontractors to meet programme deadlines
* Ensure all works comply with design, regulatory, health & safety, and quality standards
* Liaise effectively with main contractors, architects, and consultants to maintain strong working relationships
* Monitor site progress, report delays, variations, and potential risks to the Project Manager
* Oversee site logistics including deliveries, inductions, and RAMS compliance
* Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, progress photos, and environmental data
* Coordinate site surveys and assist the design team as required
* Ensure all subcontractors adhere to site processes and safety regulation
* Communicate any site issues promptly to the Project Manager and escalate where necessary
* Assist in the preparation and review of inspection and test plans
* Support compliance with company quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out or joinery projects
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
* Good knowledge of site safety and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
* CSCS Gold Card, SMSTS, IPAF, PASMA
* First Aid and Fire Marshall certifications desirable
