A Laundry Assistant ensures linen availability for all departments, maintains Linen Room cleanliness, and manages stock receipt and storage.
Shifts are from 15:00 to 23:00, scheduled 5 days over 7.
What will I be doing?
As a Laundry Assistant, your responsibilities include:
* Ensuring linen is available for all departments as requested
* Implementing quality controls for linen processes and rejecting exceptions
* Maintaining cleanliness of the Linen Room
* Carrying out stock takes
* Maintaining par stocks
* Receiving and safely storing stock
* Managing customer service issues promptly
* Overseeing linen issuing via requisition system
* Adhering to all Health and Safety Regulations
* Performing other tasks as assigned by management
What are we looking for?
The ideal Laundry Assistant should:
* Work well under pressure
* Be capable of working independently or in teams
* Be flexible to work late shifts
* Be methodical and well-organized
Previous hotel or laundry experience is advantageous.
