HR Administrator - Permanent
Hours of work: 35 hours a week, Term Time - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 3.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break
Willingness to be flexible around working hours to allow attendance at meetings that may fall out of ‘normal’ office hours and to meet deadlines.
Salary Details: LG Band 5, points 11 - 14
Actual Salary: £23,107 - £25,661 based on experience (FTE: £28,598 - £31,022)

In this rewarding role, you’ll be at the heart of a thriving school community, providing essential HR and administrative support. You’ll ensure that we remain fully compliant with school policies, safeguarding regulations, and employment legislation, while helping to create a positive environment. Your contributions will be vital in making Moat Community College a great place to work and learn.
Key Responsibilities
1. Acting as first point of contact for staff for HR queries in a professional and confidential manner
2. Arranging staff absence cover daily
3. Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to school staff
4. Support recruitment processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting, interview coordination and onboarding
5. Ensure all pre - employment checks are completed in line with KCSIE, including DBS and right-to-work documentation
6. Maintain accurate staff records, contracts, the Single Central Record and HR databases
7. Liaising with multiple organisations, including external supply agencies, payroll, the Local Authority and other outside agencies
8. Submitting the annual workforce census and local authority monthly returns

19. GCSE A-C Math's/English (or equivalent)
20. Previous experience as a administrator
