Job Description
This engineering company develops market-leading software for modelling fluid flow in specialised industries. They are seeking a PhD-qualified Mathematician, Engineer, or Physicist to join their growing team and provide numerical modelling expertise.
Your responsibilities will include adapting existing methods and developing new techniques to solve a range of PDEs and ODEs, including those developed in-house. You will then implement these methods into production-ready code in collaboration with the software team.
Working Environment
As part of a nimble company at the forefront of simulation software, you will develop innovative numerical methods and see your work through to commercialisation. With ongoing work on the next major software revision and numerous new features planned, there will be ample opportunities to stay engaged.
The company has been providing their software to multinationals for over 40 years and is considered a standard in certain sectors. You will work alongside other numerical modelling developers and an experienced software development team. Hybrid working is standard, with up to three days per week at home.
