The Role
As Site Manager – Operations, you will take full ownership of the new Nottingham site, leading it from launch through to becoming a high-performing branch.
You will oversee all key functions including:
* Delivery
* Office operations
* Sales
* Stock control
* Warehouse
* Site security
Your leadership will be central to building a high-performing team, strong culture, and operational excellence from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all site operations in line with company objectives
* Build, inspire, and develop multi-functional teams
* Deliver outstanding customer service across all departments
* Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and company policies
* Protect company assets through strong controls and security
* Monitor performance, setting and achieving ambitious targets
* Act as the senior leader on site, championing JJ values and culture
About You
We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and is excited by the opportunity to launch a new site.
You will bring:
* Proven experience in site, branch, or operations management (foodservice, wholesale, or logistics preferred)
* A strong track record of leading and developing large, multi-department teams
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills
* The ability to balance daily operations with long-term strategy
* Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
* A passion for building teams and creating a positive culture
