Job Description
Our client working on a site in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire is currently looking for a freelance Site Manager to lead the day-to-day site operations for the construction of seven new industrial units.
Key Duties:
* Manage all on-site operations, from initial groundworks to final handover
* Coordinate subcontractors across civils, steelwork, cladding, and internal works
* Maintain programme schedule and drive progress to meet deadlines
* Lead daily briefings and site inductions; enforce H&S standards (RAMS, PPE, etc.)
* Liaise with the client, quantity surveyor, and project manager
* Monitor quality control and snagging
* Keep daily records, site diary, and photographic reports

* Proven track record managing similar commercial/industrial build projects
* Groundworks and drainage
* Steel frame erection
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
* Temporary Works Ticket
* CSCS Black/White Card – Desirable
What our client can offer in return:
* Day rate up to £300
* Potential Bonus subject to completion on time
* Approx 6 Month Project
