What We’re Looking For
We want to connect with AI/ML Developers who demonstrate expertise in a broad range of core skills and experience, including but not limited to:
* Experience conducting user research for software or AI applications.
* Solid understanding of generative AI and large language models.
* Strong programming skills, including testing and debugging.
* Familiarity with agile development practices and modern software tools (e.g., Git/GitHub).
* Experience deploying AI/ML-powered applications.
* Knowledge of AI/ML evaluation techniques, including safety and robustness testing.
* Familiarity with benchmarking and performance evaluation of ML models.
* Degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics) or equivalent professional experience.
What You Might Be Doing
As a AI/ML Developer at GSK, you could get involved with:
* Designing and implementing safety metrics for generative AI applications, especially those involving language models.
* Conducting user research to identify risks, failure modes, and usability challenges in AI-powered systems.
* Integrating AI/ML components with frontend, backend, data pipelines, and compute infrastructure.
* Writing high-quality, maintainable code and participating in peer code reviews.
* Collaborating with data engineers and cross-functional teams to build end-to-end ML pipelines.
* Delivering insights from generative AI datasets using ML and data analysis techniques.
* Supporting the deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models in production environments.
