We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Labourer to join East Suffolk Council's Repairs and Maintenance Team. Your role You will be part of the Repairs and Maintenance Team assisting in the delivery of a repairs and maintenance service to the Council’s Housing stock and assets, where you will primarily be part of our property clearance team in a multi-task labourer role. You will have previous experience of working in a building construction environment, with sound knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements. Your duties will be varied, requiring you to work both as part of a team and independently, and will include undertaking or assisting with path replacements, property clearances, gutter clearing, demolition, scaffold erections/dismantling, window cleaning, logistical support, roof replacements, and laying loft insulation. It is therefore essential to have an extremely flexible approach to all tasks and duties that are required.
