Our client is a gentleman residing in Privett, a quaint village in Hampshire, surrounded by the scenic countryside. Privett is well-connected for commuting yet offers the peaceful atmosphere of rural life. The family consists of the principal and his three dogs. The principal often travels abroad, requiring additional assistance with the care of his home and pets.
This role is ideal for a reliable and professional housekeeper with an eye for detail. The successful candidate will manage the household while the principal is away, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties, taking care of the antiques in the house, laundry, and managing the principal’s dogs. While there are no children, the candidate should be comfortable with the animals and may be required to care for them during the principal's travels.
There is no public transport immediately in the village, so owning a private vehicle is an important condition.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:
General cleaning and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the house.
Caring for and cleaning antiques and delicate items.
Managing laundry, including bedsheets and shirts, and coordinating with external dry cleaners as needed.
Regular pet care, including walking and feeding up to three dogs (during principal's absences).
Fridge and pantry organisation.
Running supermarket errands, especially when the principal returns from travels.
Maintaining a tidy and well-organised home environment.
Assisting the principal in managing household tasks while he's away.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:
Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
Two excellent checkable references
Conversational English
UK working permit
Driving licence
