Catering Manager
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, working Monday=Friday - 7:30am-2:00pm
This is a permanent contract, working Term Time Only, to include 5 Teacher Training Days
Start date: 26th August 2025 (or as close to this date as possible)

Westfield Infant School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated School Catering Manager to lead our fantastic kitchen team. As our Catering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and welcoming dining experience for our children, providing them with delicious, healthy meals.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, producing food from fresh ingredients, delivers excellent customer service and is able motivate and support team members.
As a Catering Manager your responsibilities will include:
•Ensuring the smooth running of the catering operation
•Preparing and cooking meals for students and staff, including serving
•Planning and controlling all aspects of the service
•Ensuring all compliance and Health & Safety Statutory requirements are met
•keeping the kitchen clean & tidy
•Ordering, costing, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records using IT skills
•Developing and maintaining a menu in line with School Food Standards
•To be aware of the children’s dietary preferences, including allergies.
•Line Manager to the kitchen staff
•Keeping up to date with relevant training
