JAB Recruitment is currently sourcing for a HR Administrator on behalf of our client who is a leading organisation in the energy and infrastructure sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support HR and General Services activities while developing your skills in a busy and professional environment. This is an initial 12-month PAYE contract.
Purpose of the Position
As HR Administrator, you will provide administrative support across HR and general services, contributing to the smooth running of HR processes. You will work closely with the HR administration and recruitment team, assisting with daily tasks and developing skills to take on more responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare contracts of employment for new employees and Exhibit A for agency workers, in line with the New Starters procedure.
2. Manage new starter administration including paperwork, employee files, room bookings, and departmental notifications.
3. Arrange pre-employment medicals and reference checks.
4. Undertake maternity risk assessments where required and liaise with HR Advisors/HSE on subsequent actions.
5. Maintain timely and accurate electronic and paper filing of all HR documentation.
