Capgemini Engineering is seeking Supply Chain Quality Engineers with experience in Commercial Aerospace to join our rapidly growing team in Bristol, Belfast, Broughton, or Prestwick.
Hybrid working: Your work location will vary based on your role, needs, and business requirements, combining Company offices, client sites, and your home. Note that full-time remote work is not available.
If selected, you will undergo pre-employment checks including identity verification, nationality or immigration status, employment history for the past three years, and a criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your Role
1. Act as the key operational supplier interface, fostering trust and teamwork between the Client and suppliers. Facilitate relations between them.
2. Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance, contributing to their development. Ensure consistent workload and prevent work disruptions at the supplier level.
3. Challenge suppliers on contract modifications to maintain ISO perimeter (OTOCOQ).
4. Contribute to documents that clarify business relationships between ADS and suppliers (Change requests, Specifications, etc.).
5. Ensure quality and timely deliveries to protect business operations by managing milestones, product lifecycle reviews, and deliverables.
6. Verify compliance with applicable requirements and secure industrial maturity through inspections and assessments.
7. Lead supplier performance reviews and represent supply chain operations in various forums.
8. Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects, ensuring transformation plans are followed.
9. Identify industrial risks associated with suppliers and propose mitigation actions, communicating status and plans accordingly.
10. Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, focusing on on-time, on-quality, and on-cost performance.
11. Oversee supplier quality approvals, ensuring compliance with required certifications in coordination with stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience
1. At least three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment within Aerospace industries.
2. Experience using an MRP/ERP tool, preferably SAP.
3. Ability to work effectively in volatile/high-pressure environments resolving material supply issues.
4. Strong prioritization skills.
5. Clear communication skills across all interfaces.
6. Ability to work independently.
7. Experience reporting to internal and external customers.

Your Security Clearance
