Role: Head of People

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000
My client are a fast-growing AI consultancy entering an important phase of scale. As their teams and operations grow, they are looking for a Head of People to build and lead a people strategy that supports sustainable growth while preserving their culture and values.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and will play a key part in shaping how the organisation evolves globally.
Key responsibilities:
* Define and deliver a people strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans
* Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and wider leadership team on all people-related matters
* Build scalable frameworks across talent acquisition, performance management, reward, learning and development, and employee experience
* Lead organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives
* Embed a high-performance, inclusive and values-led culture
* Oversee people operations, policies and employment law compliance
* Develop and lead the People function as the company continues to scale
You must have:
* Significant experience in a senior People / HR leadership role, within a high-growth technology consultancy or AI-led organisation
* Proven experience in a scaling start-up
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how people strategy enables business outcomes
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Sound knowledge of employment law and people best practice
* A collaborative, pragmatic leader with a hands-on approach
This is a senior leadership role with genuine influence on the company’s direction on a global scale.
