Hours: 27.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 1:30pm)

Are you passionate about food and creating a welcoming lunchtime for students? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to lead the kitchen team at our friendly and vibrant school in Poulton-le-Fylde.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily preparation and service of nutritious, balanced meals for pupils and staff.
* Manage kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality.
* Plan menus in line with school food standards and dietary requirements.
* Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage the catering budget effectively.
* Maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar catering, kitchen management or chef role.
* A relevant food hygiene qualification (Level 2 or above).
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in promoting healthy eating in schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
