About the role: We are offering a salary of £27,300 per annum in addition to a number of other benefits outlined below. We are looking for a full-time member of the team, working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Friday. As a Sales Executive you will work as part of a small sales team and be responsible for meeting the sales targets for our coach group sales. You will provide administration support within the sales department and play an active role in maximising the number of coach group bookings and revenue. You will also be involved in preparing contracts and other relevant information for the Groups holidays, whilst providing after sales care to the Group organisers. You will also have the opportunity to assist with exhibitions and client events. Sales Executive Responsibilities: Answering incoming telephone calls and taking enquiries from Coach Group Organisers. Following up on lapsed enquiries and suggesting new leads. Assist in processing all bookings, creating the Alfa Groups pack, complete with relevant information including coach pick-up points. Liaising with Coach Group Organisers concerning all aspects of their holiday. Setting up and maintaining holiday tour files and databases as the tours progress from enquiry to departure. Producing and sending balance statements to organisers. Taking payments via credit/debit card, processing cheques and liaising with accounts. Liaising with the product team for enquiries involving third party Hotel accommodation. Ensuring relevant databases and spreadsheets are kept up to date at all times. Our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate: The ability to drive sales activity and revenue. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills – face to face, on the phone and written. Excellent attention to detail and administrations skills. Strong time management and organisation. Experience with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel. Desirable Skills Knowledge or experience of working in the travel or hospitality industry.
