We're recruiting for a key role supporting high-profile projects within the defence and maritime sector. Are you a skilled Slinger with experience in marine or shipyard environments and valid SC Clearance?
What we're looking for:
SVQ Level 2 / NVQ Level 2
Valid Slinger/Banksman certification (NPORS or CPCS)
Strong marine/shipbuilding or heavy industry background
Experience in lifting operations and understanding of lift plans
Ability to work closely with Crane Operators and Lift Supervisors
Strong safety awareness and communication skillsYour responsibilities will include:
Slinging and coordinating loads during complex lifts
Assisting with the movement of large marine components
Working within a live shipyard or dock environment
Following all safety procedures and contributing to a safe workspaceWhat we offer:
£32ph - Monday - Thursday + Friday is overtime
£37 on nights - Monday - Thursday + Friday is overtime
