Role description
As a member of the Early Careers team, the Junior Talent Acquisition Consultant supports a range of recruitment activities including attracting and selecting Graduates, Interns and Placement Students across our sectors. Reporting into the Early Careers Recruitment Manager, you will identify Arcadis’ future workforce and meet business demands, while ensuring the best possible candidate experience. You will work across our business areas and sectors delivering the best talent in disciplines including Engineering, Project Management, Consulting, Environmental Specialisms, etc. This is a fast-paced role with multiple stakeholders and a focus on candidate experience and keeping us as an employer of choice within the Early Careers market.
Role accountabilities
* Supporting with the attraction of Early Careers roles through university postings, LinkedIn posts, supporting at and running events, and building a network of academic contacts for hard-to-fill or niche roles.
* Work closely with and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers and key stakeholders, giving regular updates on pipelines and market data as needed.
* Sourcing and managing pipelines for Graduate, Intern and Placement opportunities, including screening applications, updating the ATS, and completing candidate Reasonable Adjustment screening calls and feedback calls.
* Organise and facilitate assessment centres in partnership with the TA Shared Service, ensuring the right number and profile of assessors; collate feedback and provide timely updates to candidates.
* Offer management and onboarding activities to mitigate reneges of offers.
* Ad hoc support for programmes and other Early Careers initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in an Early Careers role, ideally with high-volume, fast-paced recruitment.
* Evidence of a candidate-centric experience and smooth candidate journey.
* Willingness to challenge the norm with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Driven and empathetic; able to engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Commitment to diversity and inclusion in early careers.
* Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and being a team player.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and consult stakeholders using technical knowledge.
* Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working where possible).
