ODI Developer
6 Month contract initially + Extensions
Based: Leeds/Hybrid. Max 2 days p/w onsite
Rate: £450 - £525 p/d (via Umbrella company)
Overview
Join a world leading organisation as an ODI Developer on a 6‑month contract with possible extensions. You will receive full support and development opportunities to succeed in a progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Exposure to OLAP, OLTP, Data Warehouse, Data Marts development, data stores to facilitate data analytics and insights.
- Develop Fact and Dimension tables using ODI. Strong working knowledge of SCD types.
- Design and develop Mappings, reusable mappings, Packages, Procedures, Load plans, user functions, variables and sequences in ODI 12c.
- Configure physical and logical topologies as required and handle context creation and mapping.
- Maintain ODI master and work repositories and manage ETL control tables, error logging, auditing and data quality processes.
- Build data integration and transformation routines from source systems to target stores using ODI 12C; experience with batch/real‑time integrations.
- Use and customize Knowledge Modules (KM), monitor operators and manage agents.
- Strong SQL/PLSQL expertise; Oracle Golden Gate exposure is an advantage. Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Work in high‑volume environments; optimise query performance and understand query costs.
Key Skills & Experience
- Oracle Data Integrator
- Analyse, design, build, test and implement enhancements to existing systems or new applications.
- Experience with SQL and SQL scripting.
- Understand technical specifications for ETL.
- Work in an agile environment, quickly learning new data tools.
- Prioritise and execute tasks effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Strong analytical and problem‑resolution skills.
- Excellent communication.
